Ice Rink Events is hiring a Zamboni Driver/Assistant Manager for a seasonal ice skating rink in West Sacramento!

Position Overview:

Part-time, seasonal positions, starting in November 2022 and ending in January 2023. Accommodation is available for out-of-town Enchant Christmas candidates.

We are seeking outgoing, enthusiastic leaders to join our team! The primary function of these roles is to oversee the day-to-day management and the refrigeration system and quality of ice at a seasonal, outdoor ice skating rink. We are looking for professionals with demonstrated management and Zamboni operating experience. As the nation’s largest provider of seasonal ice rinks, we bring the joy of ice skating to the masses.

Key Responsibilities:

· Day-to-day management of an outdoor, public ice skating venue.

· Manage daily upkeep of facilities.

· Follow company policies and procedures in the areas of customer service, staff management, and reporting.

· Assist with setup and tear down of the venue, alongside a professional install team.

· Maintaining and monitoring the refrigeration system.

· Maintaining the quality of ice, including resurfacing and flooding, as necessary.

· Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Must have a passion for hospitality and guest services.

· Must be able to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment.

· Experience driving an ice resurfacer is a plus, but not required.

· Experience or interest in ice sports is a plus, but not mandatory.

· Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, and lift on a daily basis.

· Must hold a valid driver’s license

· Be available to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Must have strong leadership and communication skills. Creative problem-solving skills are a plus.
