Summary: Provide a safe and enjoyable youth sports environment for participating children while instructing individual and team skills, sportsmanship, and love of the game for various sports.

- Ability to show up to practice/games on time with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- Commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week.
- Exhibit patience, maturity, and dependability.
- Possess good organization skills on and off the field/court.
- Possess strong moral values and personal ethics.
- Use moral values and personal ethics to make just decisions for players
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Coach an assigned group of children in a way that will emphasize their skills
development, sportsmanship, love of the game, playing fair, and having fun
within their sport. - Show up 15 minutes early to practices and games.
- Preside over team activities including all scheduled team practices and games.
- Be responsible for equipment provided and what condition the playing area is
left in. - Ensure all children get equal playing time and experience.
- Work to establish team bond and encouragement among players.
- Adhere to JEA policies, objectives, and rules as a campus. Lead by example in
word and action among players, staff, and families
Minimum Qualifications:
Position Requirements & Qualifications:
- At least 17 years of age.
- 2 years of coaching experience.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certified.
- Athletic background in sport being coached is preferred.
