Job Title: Youth Ministry Coordinator

Reports To: Lead Pastor

Accountability: To the NCPC Session through the Family Ministry Team

Job Description: The Youth Director will oversee the Youth Ministry (Grades 6-12) Program, including ministry events and activities, building relationships with Youth and their Families, and providing opportunites for adults in the church to partner with youth ministry.

Faith and Calling: Demonstrates a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, consistent with the basic tenets of reformed faith, and a genuine sense of God’s call to this service. Conducts oneself in a manner consistent with Scripture and feels called by God to serve in the leadership of the church.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with Teens in a ministry or education setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and administrative skills
• Self-motivated; able to prioritize and organize time and tasks efficiently
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working

relationships; effective at team building

• Able to preserve confidentiality in appropriate circumstancesYouth Ministry Director Responsibilities:
• Teach Scripture in an age-appropriate manner
• Build discipleship relationships with Youth within the program
• Coordinate and oversee the weekly Youth Ministry Program
• Organize a monthly youth event
• Recruit and coordinate volunteers; partner with parents
• Participate in the Youth Ministry Team
• Interpret and enforce Child Safety Policy, including training and background

checks for all who work with minors

• Oversee administrative duties such as budget, attendance, calendar of events,

etc.Work Schedule: Part Time – 20 hours per week (hourly)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
