Job description

Mana began in 2008 with the mission of empowering our participants with the skills and confidence to live independently. We provide support for at-risk youth aging out of foster care and juvenile corrections in making the transition to adulthood. In our program youth (18-19 years old) work on obtaining the tools and skills they will need to lead a healthy life of self-reliance and independence.

What we are looking for:

Mana is seeking mentors to assist our young adults in transitioning from juvenile corrections or foster care to the community and living on their own. We provide supervision, teach independent living skills, model healthy lifestyles, teach employment skills, housekeeping skills, cooking skills, appropriate social skills and so much more!

Requirements:

• High School DIploma, GED or equivalent
• Position requires completion of a criminal history and background check and a subsequent approval from Health & Welfare
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified or available to attain certification
• Reliable, registered and insured vehicle is required
• Good driving record and valid Driver's License
• Experience is a plus, and life experience counts!
