$250 Hiring Bonus after completion of probation period!
PRIMARY DESCRIPTION
- Plan, implement, evaluate activities provided within a specific program area in one of five core program areas: academics, character & leadership development, health & fitness, the arts, or recreation.
- Supervise children during activities
**Must be a positive role model and love working with children ages 5-18 years old, be a leader, creative in implementing fun games and activities.

- Create and foster an environment that builds the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes:
- Provide an element of fun with safety in mind
- Promote and encourage program participation
- Provide guidance and role modeling to members
- Serve as a mentor
AGE GROUPS NEEDED
- TK-Kindergarten Care
- Elementary Grades (1st-6th)
- Middle School Grades (7th-8th)
Other Duties as Assigned
- Ensure a productive work environment by participating in staff meetings and trainings
- May be required to open, close and clean the facility
- May be required to serve a program snack
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience working with children (non-family members)
- Knowledge of youth development
- CPR/First Aid certifications PREFERRED
- Background check (three references are needed)
- Drug and TB screen
- Valid CA state Driver's License
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- May be required to do occasional lifting up to 20lbs
- Staff are not required, but may be asked to participate in community events and fundraising
HOURS
- SCHOOL YEAR: Must be available Monday through Friday 2:00pm-6:00pm & Wednesdays 12:00pm-6:00pm
- SUMMER : Must be available Monday through Friday generally 8:00am-1:00pm or 1:00pm-6:00pm
**Hours will vary depending on individual site/location needs
- TRAININGS/MEETINGS: Additional evening or weekend hours as mandated

Upon completion of a 90 day probation period, a $250, one time, bonus will be awarded

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
