From your PASSION to ours
Operate a 1.5 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant(WWTP). It is a waste activated sludge facility with a SBR, Belt Press, Sand Filters and DAF. Must be able to evaluate equipment problems and perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance tasks. Execute proper procedures of lab analysis. This position involves working 12-hour shifts.

Must be able to assertively control conversations in order to quickly and accurately gather pertinent information and be able to communicate this information professionally and precisely to the proper recipient. Must have the ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions. Must be able to read and understand laboratory tests conducted in a wastewater treatment facility.
- Must act in a decisive manner, using good judgment. Must be able to assess problems and situations, able to anticipate needs and evaluate alternatives. Must be able to effectively interpret the policies and objectives of the department.

Education:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED),
Experience:
- One (1) year of acceptable relevant on-site operating experience at a Class 1 or higher wastewater system (WWTP Operator 1).
Licensing:
- Idaho Wastewater Operator Class I License (WWTP Operator 1), or equivalent from another State.
