Position Title: Workforce Development Partner Lead

• Remote position, primarily supporting Michigan, but will be asked to remotely support initiatives in other states.
• Up to 10% of the time requires working onsite/travel (in-state travel only, no overnights)
• Ideal candidate has geographical familiarity with Southeast MI and Southeast MI workforce development, community, and education partners.

What the Workforce Development Partner Lead will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
• Five (5) of experience with workforce development or program design, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Project planning experience including developing and launching workforce development programs
• Previous experience in healthcare industry preferred
• Experience working in metrics driven environment
• Ability to build and maintain successful community partnerships
• Project management skills including the ability to define program, project or process objectives, identify customers/stakeholders and their interests, plan steps, and to coordinate resources to accomplish goals and objectives in an effective and timely manner
• Ability to continuously review talent acquisitions and workforce programs and processes by utilizing quality and process design improvement tools and techniques to seek new, innovative ways to deliver higher value services more efficiently and effectively

What the Workforce Development Partner Lead will do:

• Provides advanced expertise in the creation of workforce development programs, often regional and/or national in scope.
• Establishes, leads and maintains partnerships with internal stakeholders and external community and national partners to design, help implement and seek funding opportunities for workforce development programs.
• Develops workforce development strategies that create talent pools for the organization workforce needs.
• Collaborates with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition Leaders and hiring managers across area of responsibility to address innovative programs to close the workforce gaps.
• Maintains excellent relations with key stakeholders and delivering top-notch programs through national and community partnerships.
• Ensures consistency of employer brand to attract and develop diverse top talent.
