Job Responsibilities by position include:

Exhibits ($14.50/hr.)

• Welcome, greet and interact with guests in the assigned area (i.e. 4D Motion theatre, laser tag arena, arcade, virtual coaster, ropes course, etc.)
• Ability to explain and operate all exhibits in a safe manner.
• Maintain museum and exhibit appearance according to WonderWorks standards by cleaning floor surface, dusting counters and displays using cloths, brooms, brushes and/or cleaning agents
• Follow the checklist for required duties and timelines
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Exhibits department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Indoor Ropes Course Attendant ($15.50/hr)

• Instruct, lead, and supervise guests safely through the ropes course by following standard operating procedures.
• Provide knowledgeable explanations about each ropes element and perform instructional/safety briefings to guests to ensure all are adequately instructed in all course content and activities in order to provide a safe, successful, and enjoyable experience.
• Maintain calm under pressure and perform correct safety protocol in the case of an emergency.
• Prolong standing, walking, balancing, and climbing to various areas of the attraction.
• Assist with equipment inventory and report equipment damage, malfunction and repair requirements of the ropes course itself and all associated equipment to management.
• Fit harnesses and helmets correctly and supervise the use of all personal safety equipment.
• Keep the ropes course area and equipment storage neat, clean, and orderly.

Laser Tag, Arcade & Cafe Attendants ($14.50/hr.)

• Provides an interactive guest experience by providing excellent customer service, food and beverage to all Guests in a positive and outgoing manner.
• Ensure all tables and seating area maintained, clean and condiment area is stocked.
• Greet guests as they exit the exhibit area.
• Take and prepare orders for guests.
• Operate a POS system processing credit card, cash, and cardless-wallet payments.
• Act as a guide to the Laser-Tag facility by explaining how the games work, demonstrating the function of the Laser-Tag vest and gun, and preparing the guests for play time.
• Manage the queue line for laser tag, maximizing time efficiency while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain the ticket pay out counter for ticket redemption, ensuring redemption items remain stocked and organized.
• Maintain daily general maintenance of all arcade games, laser tag vests, and concession area.

Facilities Attendant ($14.50/hr)

• Maintain restroom appearance according to WonderWorks standards by cleaning floors and facilities using assigned cleaning agents.
• Upkeep and organize janitorial storage and make sure all supplies are refilled as needed.
• Clean/dump out all trash receptacles as needed.
• Clean the mats/floors/walls, exhibits floor, laser tag and concessions areas.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Minimum requirements: Previous themed entertainment experience is preferred. Must be available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday/Sunday) every week. On the job training is provided upon joining. Our ideal candidate will be able to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays and through September 4th.
