Jubilee Ministries, located in Lebanon, PA, is a mission-driven, faith-based, nonprofit organization. This multifaceted team strives to serve those affected by incarceration by being ambassadors of life change through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. One program of Jubilee is the Aftercare program which seeks to address the needs of men and women caught in the cycle of addiction, incarceration or homelessness. This program provides an environment and structure for men and women to have their hearts and lives transformed by an ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Accountability: Aftercare Manager
Status: Full Time/Part-Time (up to 28 hours); Non-Exempt
Purpose: To provide spiritual guidance, teaching, and oversee character development of students in the Aftercare Program. Oversee the application and acceptance process for students.
Qualifications:
- Degree or appropriate experience in ministry or case work
- Valid Driver’s License
- Exceptional interpersonal skills: verbally articulate and clear; good listener; able to display Christian love to people from all walks of life; can hold Aftercare men and women accountable for their choices, behavior, and actions
- Able to appropriately handle sensitive information and maintain required confidentiality
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Computer literate: proficient in Microsoft Word
- Effective presentation skills
- Willing to adhere to Jubilee’s Mission Statement, Core Values, Statement of Faith, Position Statements, and Employee Code of Conduct
- Experience in prison work and/or addictions a plus

Duties:
Case Work
- Hold students accountable to the rules and standards of the Aftercare Program.
- Be a spiritual responder and presence of support and accountability to students.
- Keep an awareness of student schedules and their location.
- Manage the application process (receive and route) for the Aftercare program.
- Perform intakes for those entering the program.
- Coach and guide students away from destructive choices towards Jesus Christ.
- Assist in transporting students to appointments and other events.
Administrative
- Update Ministry Tracker accordingly for all student correspondence.
- Communicate all concerns to appropriate parties immediately. (Life Coaches/on call staff/Aftercare Mgr./CPO)
- Complete a Shift Report documenting any needs brought to your attention by students and/or any significant incidents that occurred during the shift.
- Complete Incident Reports for any recordable incidents and report all crisis situations to the Aftercare Manager immediately. If violent, call 911, then notify Aftercare Staff.
- Perform drug screens and searches as directed by Aftercare Manager.
Teaching/Training
- Assist in teaching or coordinating Aftercare Program classes.
Other
- Attend events that support Jubilee Ministries or the Aftercare Program (e.g., Fundraising Dinner, Volunteer Banquet, Student Graduations, etc.).
- Promote Jubilee Aftercare in churches, prisons, community organizations, and public events.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other team building activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
