Winter Camp offers the following employment opportunities:

  • Instructors & Counselors
    • Provide Scooter Morning Instruction.
    • Responsible for Zone Coaching shift in the afternoon.
    • Overnight Counseling supervision of campers.
  • Food & Beverage Attendants
    • Providing exceptional food service to our campers, guests, and staff.
    • Food Service outlets may include one or all of the following: Belly Union, Moondoes Coffee Shop, and Canteen.
  • Nurses & Certified Athletic Trainers
    • The day-to-day care of injuries and medical emergencies that occur on camp facilities for campers, staff, guests and visiting athletes.
    • Ensure the Athletic Training Room and Infirmary are covered during operational hours.
  • Parent Counselors/Drivers
    • Chaperone the safe transport of campers, staff, and VIP guests to and from airports, medical facilities and essential supply runs as needed.
    • Guide our younger campers ages 7-9 throughout their camp weekend as their cabin counselor.
  • Guest Services Attendants
    • Provide elevated service to our guests at all times through variety of communication pathways.
Requirements:

Due to the nature of our business, a criminal background check will be conducted after a position is accepted. Additionally, all staff are required to complete California Mandated Reporter and other web-based child safety training prior to arrival on-site.

Winter Camp staff must attend Staff Check-in on Wednesday December 28, 2022, at 3pm prior to the campers for orientation. Staff are required to stay through the duration of the fall camp session ending on January 1, 2023. Staff should be prepared to stay until the conclusion of their scheduled shift on the last day of the session(s) for which they are hired.

  • Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 25lbs.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines
  • Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all-season environment.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, overnights
  • Develop a mindset to always help or cross train with all staff and departments
  • Provide work related references upon request
