Wellness Center Associate - Liberty Center

Are you someone who wants to help make the community healthier by becoming a Wellness Associate for YMCA! Be part of the team that staff the Liberty Center's Wellness Center on Saturday 5:30am to 8pm and Sunday 5:30am to 2:00pm. Meet members and promote health & wellness. Wellness Center experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right motivated person. Must be outgoing and able to show initiative. This job is perfect for extra income.

This person must:

• Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or actively pursuing an equivalent.
• Have an outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
• Must have excellent communication and listening skills.
• Have knowledge in health and fitness principles.
• Be able to meet the following physical requirements including, but are not limited to, sitting, and standing, climbing, bending and lifting 50lbs.
• Demonstrate friendliness and tact while maintaining safety.
• Be passionate about the YMCA mission and vision and must personally advocate and demonstrate the core values of honesty, respect, responsibility and caring.

• Have CPR and First aid certification prior to or within 60 days of hire.
