United Management Services is seeking an experienced and talented Maintenance Technician responsible for providing exceptional service while maintaining value and quality in the community by assessing and repairing the property as requested under the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) affordable housing program. This position is for our Wellford, SC property.

The successful candidate should have the following experience:

• Have 3 years of maintenance experience (preferably at a Low Income Housing Tax Credit ("LIHTC") affordable housing program property)
• Turnover maintenance * General knowledge of appliance repairs
• Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair and apartment turns.
• Painting and drywall experience
• You will also be responsible for completing work orders.
• Keeping a high level of service in mind with every task
• Respect the boundaries of confidentiality, fair housing laws, and safety.
• Completing work in a timely, cost-effective, and accurate manner
• Must be available for rotating on-call hours and possible overtime
• When required, responds to all emergency calls in a timely manner and if necessary, in person.
• Must be attentive to detail, work independently and adhere to company policies.
