While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Must be able to interpret mechanical drawings and understand the welding requirement.
- Responsible for welding equipment maintenance.
- Responsible for finishing grinding applications using manual and power tools.
- Responsible for laying out, job setting, fitting and assembly.
- Interacts with internal customers and technicians regarding build requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to read blueprints
- Good verbal communication skills
- Some basic computer skills
- Excellent people skills and be a strong team player willing to adapt as necessary
- Ability to tolerate stress and work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Positive “Can Do” attitude while displaying the initiative and ability to problem solve
- Strong attention to detail
- Willing to work overtime when needed
- Knowledge of welding equipment and how to weld various types of alloys
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Previous trade experience preferred
