Welder Essential Job Functions:

Follow all company safety and quality requirement

Learn company policies and procedures

Work on basic manufacturing assignments that have set standards

Follow detailed instructions while observed closely by supervisor or lead

Problem solve simple and non-complex issues that need little judgement

Perform measurements within specified tolerances

Learn to read blueprints

Work well with others

Work safely and accurately

Prompt and dependable attendance

Other duties as assigned
Welder Knowledge, Skills and Qualities:
-
Perform simple flat and horizontal welds and flat groove welds
-
Fit and weld subassemblies with tack or spot weld
-
Perform measurements within specified tolerances
-
Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization and welding equipment set-up and maintenance
-
General knowledge of equipment and operations
-
Basic understanding of Weld symbols
-
Understand and follow oral and written directions
-
Read a tape measure (imperial and metric)
-
Make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal
Education and Work Experience:
