Saturday & Sunday 8am-4:30pm

Essential Functions

• Clean garbage compactor, dumpsters, and enclosures.
• Empty garbage dumpsters into compactor.
• Water lawns, shrubs, and flowers, as needed.
• Mow and trim lawn, where applicable.
• Fertilize and rake lawn as needed.
• Maintain sprinkler and drainage systems.
• Turn soil and reseed lawn, as necessary.
• Perform repairs to sprinkler system.
• Spread beauti-bark, mulch, topsoil and perform brush cutting.
• Perform special landscaping projects as required.
• Pick up garbage throughout property.
• Replace light bulbs for outside lighting as delegated by Maintenance supervisor.
• Install and maintain fences and gates as assigned.
• Assist in inventory control and upkeep of all ground equipment and supplies.
• Assist with emergency maintenance.
• Clean laundry room and mailbox areas.
• Clean/maintain pool and jacuzzi area including cleanliness of pool furniture.
• Clean pool and spa of debris, check chemical balance daily and adjust chemical balance as required and complete the pool log.
• Clean breezeways, entry areas and under stairways.
• Advise the Property Manager of any landscape and/or other exterior liability hazards.
• Perform pressure washing as instructed by supervisor.
• Assist in snow removal and de-icing of sidewalks, stairs and parking lots as required.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Property Manager or the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Grounds keeping or gardening experience.
• Possess basic maintenance experience.
• Ability to positively interact with a wide range of people.
• Practice good safety habits.
• Possess demonstrated willingness to learn other property tasks.
• Appearance compatible with image of property.
• Share on-call duties with maintenance staff and responds promptly to calls.
• If required to drive for company a valid state driver's license and minimum amount of liability insurance required by the state is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
