Join our fun and happy team! The Spearfish Holiday Inn is looking to hire a Front Desk Agent. This position must be available for various shifts on the weekend from 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm or a swing shift in between.
Essential Responsibilities and Qualifications include the following:
Room reservations and checking guests in and out of the hotel.
Issues room keys, discount cards, etc.
Provides local information to guests by answering inquires.
Ensures confidentiality, security and safety of hotel guests.
Compute bills, post charges, collects payments.
Runs various reports - hand written and computer.
Maintain cleanliness and neatness of the front desk and lobby.
Wear a uniform up to property standards and name tag.
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Must have strong computer skills and ability to learn hotel system.
Ability to quickly learn front desk procedures.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Working knowledge of MS Office required.
Proven ability to multi-task in a high volume work setting.
Dependable with reliable transportation.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
