Summary Position:

Delivery Driver who will provide support to the food service department supporting Atlanta Public Schools.

Directly responsible for load/unloading a van/truck for delivery of products to site locations safely, timely and professionally. Delivery drivers is also responsible for keeping warehouse and vehicle clean, cleaning up after themselves, and providing an attitude that promotes a team like atmosphere.

Required License or Certificate:

• Commercial Driver’s License Required.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Ability to drive an enclosed van of 16/24 foot box truck
• Must have CDL
• Ability to clear criminal background check
• Ability to professionally communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
• Be able to work in sitting positions for long periods of time
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop frequently as well as to lift up to 4olbs
• Be Able to work in some temperatures extremes( ie. Freezer, walk-in coolers)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
