Overview:
ZeniMax Online Studios is seeking an experienced WebGL Developer to create new and visually enhanced web experiences supporting our games. As a WebGL Developer, you will work hand in hand with Content, Product, and Design to ensure our websites are easy to update, reflect the latest content of our games, and adhere to strict privacy, accessibility, and security standards. You will level up our websites by building interactive 2D and 3D experiences that visually delight our users.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure that security and accessibility requirements are followed
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Proficient knowledge and understanding of the following:
- WebGL and Three.js
- Web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Client-side scripting with JavaScript/Typescript
- Modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular, Vue, and React
- Image authoring and 3D modelling tools like photoshop and blender
- Cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Code versioning tools, such as Git and Perforce
- Experience setting up unit test platforms and frontend testing suites
- Experience building custom content management systems
- DevOps, Backend Dev, and/or Design experience
- Experience with game design and development
