Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Installation and application of waterproofing systems on new construction and structural restoration; includes removal and replacement of material systems. Interior and exterior surfaces.

· Review and assess required materials for projects.

· Perform integrity testing and troubleshooting testing to validate system integrity.

· Assist other skilled trade workers with focus on project completion.

· Ability to work at various heights using scaffolding, swing stages and/or arial lifts.

Requirements

· Minimum educational level of a high school diploma or GED.

· Waterproofing experience and general laborer knowledge required. Masonry, roofing, carpentry, drywall, waterproofing and painting experience may be relevant. Hourly rate will be based on experience.

· A valid driver’s license is required. Employees are required to have reliable. transportation to travel to and from job sites.

· Grit Services is a drug-free workplace, must pass a pre-hire drug screen.

· Background check prior to employment.

Work Environment

· Must be able to physically able to navigate construction sites. Physical activities include but not limited to climbing, lifting, digging, balancing, walking, and handling materials and tools.

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

· Work environments will be project dependent. Projects could include indoor or outdoor work sites, loud noises, enclosed spaces, high heights, and seasonal temperatures.
