Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Wargames and Exercises Mission Engineer - Advanced Engineer to join our team! In this position, you will be part of a team in support of the Missile Defense Agency while providing support for testing through all phases of event life cycle in the Wargames and Exercises Directorate. This Engineer will supports the government Mission Director for the Missile Defense System (MDS) portion of Combatant Command (CCMD) hosted exercises. Domestic and international travel will be required.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Function as the modeling and simulation (M&S) Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all aspects of Missile Defense System (MDS) Wargames and Exercises planning and execution
  • Leads execution of engineering tasks associated with building/running modeling and simulations of missile defense systems
  • Utilize M&S tools such as EADSim, MDAsim (formerly I-Sim), Polaris, OSM, OSF, etc.
  • Conduct stakeholder coordination, Systems Engineering Integration and Test, architecture development, pre-test coordination, risk assessment/mitigation, event documentation development, and gather Lessons Learned
  • Support Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) coordination and execution events
  • Provide sound recommendations for Warfighter participant coordination, event scheduling, exercise concepts, design, and execution
  • Assist junior co-workers with daily performance requirements and provide training to ensure growth and advancement in the work force

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • MS in an engineering field or STEM related field with 10 years of experience. (A BS in an engineering field with 5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for the MS degree requirement.)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security (or higher) Clearance

  • Demonstrated skills in a high tempo work environment
  • Proficient with Windows-based PC software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience with DoD and military hosted Wargames and Exercises
  • Effective communication skills with a broad spectrum of MDA elements and non-MDA stakeholders to integrate capabilities into complex test event configurations
  • Oversee multiple, concurrent team activities, dynamic requirements, aggressive schedules, and multiple stakeholder interfaces to resolve JELC event challenges
  • Demonstrated proficiency with network and systems architectures (e.g., CNET, MPE, Sensors J and Sensors K, Allied integration enclave, and cross domain solutions, etc.)

Salary Range:

$136,200.00 - $245,200.00
