Job description
Job Summary:
- Managing warehouse activities in a fast-paced manufacturing facility including, but not limited to, the coordination of material movement to and from the production areas, management of ERP (SAP) inputs for inventory and the coordination of incoming and outgoing materials
- Receives incoming parts, maintains inventory control of items received and charged out of the warehouse
- Receives incoming shipments
- Manage inventory of consignment items
- Order and receive parts, supplies, shipments and some customer supplied products
- Verifies daily inventory stock balance; assist in expediting outstanding purchase orders
- Maintain warehouse to support maintenance and production to ensure minimal downtime
- Maintains weekly inventory record of fuel and lubricants, and monthly record of blasting supplies
- Keep warehouse in a clean, neat and orderly manner
- Conducts physical inventory of parts and supplies on an "as scheduled" basis; order supplies as needed
- Security of the warehouse and parts storage areas and placing items in bin
- Key punching Received Purchase Orders
- Provide backup for Site Coordinator, Administrative Clerk and Administrative Assistant
Qualifications
- Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree preferred;
- 5+ years experience with material handling/inventory management in plant-manufacturing environment
- Hands on experience in having total ownership with all phases of warehouse operations (receiving, inventory management, etc.)
- Good computer skills (at intermediate level or better required) including Excel and database programs; ERP (SAP) experience a plus
- Self starter with ability to work independently; must have proven experience with working with vendors and contractors
- Ability to work with and identify mechanical components a plus
- Ability to think quickly when issues arise and use good judgment to make & carry out decisions end in favorable results; willingness to continue education through company sponsored programs; willing and able to work rotating shifts

- Salary range for this position is $45,000 to $50,000 as well as an annual bonus plan
