Job Description
The Warehouse Worker supports QuietKat business operations by maintaining a smooth flow of materials in and out of the warehouses in a safe and orderly manner. Supports warehousing operations through receiving, order fulfillment and inventory optimization in QuietKat's Eagle warehouse.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Load and unload inbound/outbound trucks.
  • Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments.
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, hand truck, or electric hand truck.
  • Hand-stacking pallets of merchandise.
  • Safety operate Class I, III, and IV lift trucks to move pallets of inventory.
  • Examine shipping and receiving load content against records to ensure accuracy.
  • General housekeeping to maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Adhere to all safety policies including general site safety, forklift operation, and truck driving.
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Must be able interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules, and manuals.
  • Ability to give attention to detail is a must.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally to individuals and groups.
  • Ability and disposition to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Superior time management skills with minimal supervision; self-motivation and initiative; ability to prioritize, plan, and organize to complete projects and tasks independently.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
  • Warehouse environment with varying temperature conditions based on season, could be exposed to outside temperatures when loading and unloading containers.
  • Extensive walking
  • Major joint dexterity: Ability to bend at the waist and knees, squat, kneel, and reach overhead.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance from the floor consistently throughout shift.
  • Fine Manual dexterity: ability to use arms, wrists, and hands to grasp, manipulate objects, and use a computer.
Pay Range:
$15.72 - $22.16
