Operations
Position: Warehouse - Clinton, MI
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proper execution of all department SOPs and safety procedures
- Daily processing of orders assigned
- Correct processing of order pick-sheet, logs, and shipping documents
- Conscientious handling of inventory to avoid damage or inaccuracies
- Data input into inventory into the system.
- Properly store and rotate stock
- Assist in inventory control procedures
- Assist with weekly cycle count and quarterly inventories
- Perform housekeeping duties as assigned
- Safe operation of equipment adhering to company and OSHA requirements and guidelines
- Report equipment for safety and maintenance needs
- Help maintain a safe, clean working environment
- Assist with organic pest control programs
- Use of proper lifting technique
- Recommend operational changes and needs
- Maintain and support company policies and procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Education sufficient to skillfully perform duties
- Ability to lift 50 pounds waist high, intermittently over the course of a normal workday
- Basic math skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical
- Computer skills a plus
- Hi-Lo experience preferred
