Plumb Supply Company has an opening for a dependable person with a great attitude, attention to detail and a team player to join their Ottumwa, Iowa team. This is a full-time position working Monday thru Friday, with overtime as required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by answering questions, placing, and picking customer orders
- Load and unload trucks using dollies, dolly carts, forklifts and other tools as needed
- Unload, inspect, store, and shift incoming product
- General warehouse duties assigned
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Provide deliveries to customer's shops or job sites
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Forklift experience a plus
- Demonstrate an ability to create a positive work environment
- Comfortable working in a fast paced warehouse environment
- Attention to detail
- Must have a valid driver's license and pass DOT physical
- Must pass pre-employment testing (drug screen, background check, and driving record check)
