JOB TITLE: Warehouse Support

DEPARTMENT: Warehouse- Logistic

JOB SUMMARY

To support manufacturing operations by performing warehouse and inventory task, materials handling, receiving, and shipping activities.:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Accountable for:
Receiving & Inventory

1. Receives heavy weight loads from carriers.
2. Operates forklift to move or locate material in the warehouse area.
3. Store and Dispatch inventory materials (raw materials, components, or silver stock) to support all Cooper Vision manufacturing areas in accordance with company policies and procedures.
4. Ensure physical inventory match with system inventory records.

Materials Handlers
1. Performs materials dispatch and transfer to Manufacturing / Packaging areas based on operations demand.
2. Coordinate inventory returns from operations back to warehouse inventory, ensuring materials be in good standing packaging and proper lot identification.

Shipping attendant
1. Collect and performs product scanning process in order to generated shipping batch (Dispatch Note) in accordance with purchase order / Shippable Product Reports.
2. Provide support to any material or item to be shipped out of the Cooper Vision facility.
3. Ensures adequate safeguard of the shipment against mishandling.
4. Delivers documentation, identification and reconciliation of material to be shipped.

Generals
1. Support Cycle Count and physical inventory activities
2. Maintain good inventory storage and handling practice
3. Monitor Storage Temperature and ensure proper material storage in accordance with established procedures.
4. Store bulk polypropylene materials from containers to Silos.
5. Maintain good housekeeping practice
6. Participate stamping quarantine labels on incoming raw materials
7. Participate on MRO Materials delivery to owners.
8. Participate in any other duties related to Warehouse and Logistics activities as required.



POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Applies communication skills to work as a team group
  • Complies with the Quality System Regulation (QSR) and ISO 13485.
  • Executes job responsibilities as established in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Teamwork oriented
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work overtime if necessary, with minimum supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills at all levels
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, and responsible person
  • Applies mathematical skills and concepts
  • Operate pallet jack or finger with the appropriate license
  • Execute safety and operational inspections associates with material handling equipment
  • Driver’s License in good standing
  • Complies with Safety and Occupational Health Policy.
  • Complies with the usage, inspection and maintenance of the personal protective equipment required, as applicable.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • Needs to walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; sit and reach with arms; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; requires close vision
  • Utilizes reading, writing, speaking skills, analytical capacity and judgment to solve problems
  • Applies communication skills to perform work and speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
  • Incumbent could be exposed to fumes of chemicals.
EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma.

EXPERIENCE
  • Preferred experience in Warehouse / Logistics
  • Preferred experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Environment
