Empire Staffing Network has an Immediate opening for an Order Processor.

Overview:

The successful candidate will process orders as assigned (urgent, rushes, shuttle, FedEx, express shipment, etc.) by using an in-house computer system to respond to customers' inquiries and concerns. This individual will process orders, administering payments, and verifying order details before shipment, ensuring the items' quality and quantity to prevent order delays and customer complaints.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all orders are processed and delivered to Material Management for shipment on or
• before required ship date Ensure Customer, Company, & Departmental procedures are followed
• Understand and administer company attendance and safety policies for team and enforces safety
• regulations.
• Contribute to successful On Time Shipping and delivery through accurate and efficient
• processing.
• Release all daily shipments before shift end.
• Schedule carriers as per customer requirements on carrier website or other site(s) as required
• This position may require additional overtime based on daily volume of work.
• Cross dock, small parcel, LTL, and TL
• Release and creation of BOL and other required documents.
• Manage outbound assignments
• Assist in root cause analysis, corrective, and preventative action(s)

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in similar position
• Basic math skills
• Proficiency with MS Office and AS400
• Self-Starter who appreciates collaboration and flexibility
• On Task and efficient
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task, as needed, to get the job done
• DOT, IATA, IMDG

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
