The Warehouse Manager- Outbound will ensure all operations of outbound freight are executed properly. The Outbound Manager will also execute process analysis, identify and resolve barriers to efficiencies.

This role will oversee and provide detailed expectations for the Shift Managers, , Floor Managers, Shift Supervisors, Order Selectors, Reach Truck Operators Supervisors in ensuring that all outbound freight is prepared on time and accurately; with an ability to flex between identifying and setting standards for the team as well as rolling up his/her sleeves to improve processes. In addition, the Outbound Manager must be a leader who develops and mentors employees to achieve their maximum potential. An analytical problem solver with the ability to adjust to supply chain challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promote company values and organizational trust along with maintaining one team atmosphere
• Proactively monitor and report outbound trends to Senior Leadership
• Analyze and evaluate current processes with recommendations for improvement
• Implement new processes and improvements as needed
• Implement processes, controls and verification steps to avoid costly gaps in delivery
• Implement processes and controls to support an employee’s ability to select product without errors and prevent damages
• Connect with team members across various shifts throughout the week to evaluate performance, coach and drive improvements in outbound
• Lead by example, resolve conflict, and take decisive action.
• Work with supervision team to recommend any required discipline. Interface with shift manager for any disciplinary issues.
• Hold weekly supervisor meetings to review metrics, employee issues, warehouse challenges and any other initiatives.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 Years of outbound supervision/management or related experience.
• 3-5 Years of Supply Chain or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Thorough understanding of outbound processes and procedures
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Organizational skills and process oriented
• Analytical capabilities and ability to make data driven decisions
• Microsoft Excel abilities
• Food Inventory/ Multi-temp commodity experience (nice to have)
• Knowledge of FDA food-safety regulations
• Knowledge of AS400 (not a deal breaker)
• Availability to have a physical presence for various shifts throughout the week.
