SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will have previous warehousing or shipping experience, and high attention to detail is required as is the ability to communicate effectively with both our customers and shipping partners. Key performance metrics include fill rate, shipping accuracy, and ship on-time receiving. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the warehouse to ensure goals are met.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Ensure all processes are completed efficiently, which includes taking orders, shipping, and invoicing.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
  • Process customer orders/changes according to established department policies and procedures.
  • Must partner with the Sales team to provide customers with quality products and excellent customer service.
  • Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by management.
  • Work with and assist Gemini Sales Team in all areas of sales.
  • Conduct weekly inventory cycle counts on all core products and monthly on all additional products. Adjust inventory according to Gemini policy to maintain an up to date.
  • Places weekly truck orders to accommodate sales stocking lists and movement reports.
  • Forecasts warehouse space needs and optimizes existing footprint

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Character: Possess a good; work ethic, morale, and personal integrity and honesty.
• Attitude: Be mature, flexible, positive, and self-motivated.
• Operate forklift for picking and putting away pallets
• Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Self-starter who works effectively without close supervision
• Skill in addition subtraction multiplication and division of whole numbers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL

• Stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
