SHORE Total is currently looking for a Warehouse Quality Manager (“WQM”) to join our team. The position of Warehouse Quality Manager is an essential role within our organization to drive Quality in Warehouse Operations. The position requires creating discipline in warehouse operations and managing the flow of product in and out of the facility, ensuring an organized operation to promote successful project completion.

RAL Investment Corporation consists of two divisions: SHORE Total Office and Silverstrand Construction. The 15,000 sq ft warehouse located in Chula Vista, CA services both divisions though primarily SHORE Total Office. As a provider of Furniture, Fixtures, Equipment, Doors, Frames, and Hardware to a variety of complex jobs in San Diego County, Arizona, and California, the warehouse management is critical to receive, organize and manage the delivery of all products to projects in a timely manner. Secondarily, but critically, the position requires substantial attention to detail and quality control to ensure successful product delivery and minimize labor output on projects; communication with vendors on product defects to ensure project flow.

Job Outline:

· Quality Control of incoming and outgoing product in respect to condition, receipt quantity, relative to order controls.

· Processing of RMAs, freight claims, damage replacements

· Communication with Vendors regarding incoming freight deliveries for proper storage availability and delivery receipt management

· Communication with Project Management Team regarding status of incoming and received product per project.

· Organize, maintain, and constantly adapt warehouse layout and inventory controls to ensure proper tracking of all stored materials.

· Manage effective inventory tracking technologies as adopted to ensure consistent on time deliveries for all applicable parties.

· Assist in constantly upgrading warehouse operations technologies, tools, and procedures

· Understand project budgets as related to inventory to ensure minimal storage time for product in warehouse.

· Maintain small tool inventory and checkout system for entire company

· Create and maintain high value inventory and security system for exact accounting and localization within warehouse.

· Manage, lead, create delivery teams to ensure teamwork and timely, quality deliveries for all parties.

· Ensure warehouse delivery vehicles are properly maintained with fleet manager for consistent operation.

· Ensure warehouse operations are always following QDNA in Safety with consistent safety checks, updating and creating safety procedures where necessary.

· Review and maintain security protocols regarding warehouse on a daily basis.

Requirements/Qualifications:

· 5+ years’ experience warehouse management, inventory, logistics and/or distribution experience in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, Google Drive, Gmail and associated applications. Ability to learn new technology that improves operations.

· Ability to lead and manage a variety of people, including Superintendents, delivery crews, in warehouse and logistical planning.

· A “can-do” attitude; possessing drive, initiative and a desire to learn.

· Good written & oral communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
