Job Description Summary
Responsible for supporting, coaching and leading associates in an engaged manner to achieve desired results in an assigned area(s). Responsible for distribution of resources and work load, assuring associates are adequately trained, assisting in continuous improvement efforts and providing direction for associates. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to speak, read and write English. Ensures compliance with embecta quality systems, policies, procedures and practices and all local, state, federal and embecta safety regulations, policies and procedures.

B shift: 6:20p - 6:30a
Essential Responsibilities (included but are not limited to):
- Monitor team members to ensure compliance to controlled documents.
- Provide work direction to associates in assigned area(s).
- Direct training for associates in their assigned area(s).
- Responsible for all process documentation accuracy, completion and handoff.
- Set work assignments/direction of associates as needed.
- Interaction with other Line Leads and associates on the respective/adjoining shifts to share best practices, create standardization, and ensure a smooth transition between shifts. Line Leads are required to work a schedule that allows for this to occur seamlessly.
- Respond when an issue is identified, leads the root cause and corrective action investigation as needed and escalates as required.
- Enable the development and training of associates by responding to requests and department needs. Assist with changes to Standard Work instructions.
- Proactively works to anticipate problems before they impact production.
- Champions process improvements and ensures that changes associated with Continuous Improvement (CI) activities are implemented consistently in their area.
- Possess knowledge of and ability to efficiently perform in all department operations due to the shortage/absence of available floaters. Must obtain necessary certifications within one (1) year.
- Duties include coverage of operations from Packager to Setup Operator as requested/needed.
- Assists supervisor and manager with meeting department safety and production goals.
- Identify and correct any conditions compromising the safety of any employee. Ensure a clean, safe environment.
- Ensure an open flow of communication exists between associates and management.
- Accessible to associates in assigned area(s).
- Works with Team Leader to hold associates accountable for performance.
- Leads by example with a focus on safety and quality.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- High school Diploma or GED
- 2+ years Manufacturing or Warehouse Environment/Experience
- Previous leadership experience

- Associates degree or Vocational/Technical
