What does a Warehouse Lead do at Swire Coca-Cola?
As a member of our Warehouse team, you will be a key leader among your peers and colleagues to ensure that our customers receive correct orders in a timely manner so that their stores are always fully stocked with our great-tasting products.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in operations of total warehouse as it pertains to shipping department
- Coordinate and control duties and personnel for forklift operators
- Assist Supervisor and Manager to control time distribution and overtime for loading personnel
- Coordinate with Supervisor and Warehouse manager to ensures proper training for forklift operators
- Knowledge of all warehouse job descriptions and duties including dispatch, hostler and snowplow with the ability to learn and perform those tasks as needed
- With direction from the Warehouse Supervisor and Manager, maintains a clean, well-organized warehouse
- Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor and or Manager
- High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must become forklift certified within 1 month of hire if not currently
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business and help cover other lead shifts (night or rotating weekend) as needed
- Able to coordinate assigned projects as directed by Supervisor or Manager
