Receiving Lead - Warehouse Distribution

Woodbury, MN

Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

Blue Harlan is the recruiting team for this 75 year old supplier to the food, berverage, and service industry. Solid company with an engaging culture valuing teamwork.

We are looking for a receiving lead to provide efficient flow of materials in the area of stock replenishment and warehouse operations. You will work to oversee all warehouse receiving activities, ensure efficient processes, coordinate logistical processes, ensure the quality of goods, and prepare relevant documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising daily activities and maintain the company’s stocked product by stock location
• Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse receiving productivity.
• Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Maintain daily product bin stock for 1,000 items at level at primary bin location based on system allocation, and assuring adherence to FIFO practices.
• Physically Receive product and maintain ERP system integrity of transactions (checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.)
• Perform daily counts of product as dictated by system and prepare for yearly physical inventory.
• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
• Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds, coordinate building maintenance and ordering of supplies.
• Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as a receiving associate lead or a similar position.
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
• Time management skills
• Excellent teamwork and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
• Problem-solving skills
• Able to lift 40lbs without mechanical assistance

Pay: $18.32 - $24.64 per hour
