*JOB DESCRIPTION*
Summary/Objective
The Door Shop Manufacturer is responsible for, but not limited to: Working on a Door Pre-hanging assembly line and keeping up on routine maintenance of equipment.
Essential Functions

• Using Power Saws, Air Nail Guns, Staplers and other tools needed to prep wood material used to assemble doors.
• Safely operate a forklift to assist in moving material to appropriate area of the shop.
• Pick and pull production material as needed.
• Load, unload, store and package material as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and observe all safety rules posted.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple one or two-step instructions; deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

*Supervisory Responsibility*
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
The incumbent is located in highly precarious places and near moving mechanical parts. There is exposure to vibrations, airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions, including wet, humid, extremely hot, and extremely cold surroundings.
Physical Demands
Requires frequent standing, sitting, walking, use of hands, talking, lifting and listening. Requires periodically sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. This position rarely climbs or balances.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work depends on hours of operations, 40 hours per week.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
