We’re seeking a Warehouse/Delivery/Service Technician at our Harrisburg branch location to service our customer’s needs. Under general supervision, industry, and company regulations, the Warehouse/Delivery/Service Technician is responsible for delivery, repair, set-up, training, cleaning, and servicing of all medical equipment and supplies to Blackburn’s customers as well as warehouse & inventory maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a safe driving record, possess good communication and people skills, warehouse experience, and an aptitude for utilizing hand tools.

JOB TITLE: Warehouse/Delivery/Service Technician, Harrisburg, Pa Branch

HOURS OF WORK: Flexible - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school education or equivalent. Must be organized and possess the ability to work with people.

Familiar with both hand and shop tools. Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record. Must have good communication skills. Computer knowledge and background in healthcare related industry helpful.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Receiving/Shipping

* Maintain Inventory/Stock Levels (Send Requisition to Corporate to Order)

* Conducting Inventories (In Warehouse and Facilities)

* Maintain all paperwork and computers systems (entering all notes in computer)

* Perform cleaning / testing/ troubleshooting of equipment

* Perform repairs on all durable medical equipment as needed in warehouse and patient owned

* Adheres to company policy and procedure on infection control and safety

* Completes all paperwork compliantly and sends to Corporate within 24 hours

* Maintains company vehicle and assures vehicle safety. Completes Vehicle Checklist monthly

* Performs Delivery/Pickup of Equipment as needed

* Maintain Building for Safety and Compliance/Codes

* Obtain Quotes for Repairs/Rehab Equipment as needed

* Attend Joint Commission/PI Meetings Monthly

* Safety Committee (Perform Monthly Walk Through and Attend Monthly Meetings)

* Attend Weekly Conference Call with Operations and Sales at 8:30 AM

* On Call for Emergencies as needed

* Work collaboratively with all employees of Eastern Division providing excellent customer service and maintain profitability of the division

* Performs other duties and projects as assigned by management

CONTINUING EDUCATION:

* Attends in-services on safety considerations and infection control

*Attends in-services on new products

* Attends annual company in-services on hazardous communications, etc. as required

* Avail self of audio and video tapes
