Job Description:

Tri-Star is a fast growing company with 3 different locations in Florida. We are seeking an experienced individual for our Orlando location. Duties include: customer service, documentation, warehouse cargo/mail handling, loading and unloading, building freight for the flight, inventory, organization and must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be willing to work shift hours that can include nights, evenings, weekends and holidays. The position starts at $18 with benefits.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass all pre-employment drug test and background check
• Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to obtain valid airport I.D. badge.
• Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess the ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English and Spanish language - any other languages is a plus
• Must be available to work varied shifts, including nights, and occasionally on weekends, and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work in the sun or rain for a short period of time is necessary
• Must be able to stand for more than an hour
• Must be able to multitask
• Must be able to work under pressure and finish tasks within a short period of time

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift, tug and pallet jack
• Process customer paperwork and shipping information
• Provide reports on shipments status and damages
• Load/unload air cargo from/to vehicles/trucks
• Be able to learn new procedures and rules in a timely manner
• Prepare, palletize, and/or breakdown cargo as needed
• Make sure paperwork related to the cargo is accurate
• Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo
• Adhere to all FAA, TSA, USDA, Airport, Tri-Star Safety and Security procedures.
• Clean up and sweep warehouse, dispose garbage
• Maintain safe operation of warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow Hazmat and Security Requirements and Regulations
• Bring any customer issues to the attention of a supervisor
• All other duties as assigned
