Warehouse Associate/ Forklift Operator

As we continue to rapidly grow, we have an opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join our new operation at Taylor Farms Southern California as a Warehouse Associate, located in Ontario, California.

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for supporting our production by safely ensuring all inbound and outbound shipment is accurate and damage-free. This diverse role demands inventory control, shipping and receiving quality control, and WMS data entry.

Shifts:

• First, 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM
• Second, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM, .25 shift Pay Differential
• Third, 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM, .50 shift Pay Differential

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all Covid-19, warehouse safety, food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance protocols.
• Load and unload goods onto or from trailers and containers
• Accurately receive and document incoming goods
• Assists in physical inventory, stock rotation, cycle counting, and data entry into WMS
• Maintain and verify inventory labels, product count, and correct item number
• Pull necessary raw materials for daily production
• Prepare, palletize, stage, and load finished goods for shipment
• Perform inspections on equipment before following operational use.
• Responsible for keeping work area clean and safe always

Qualifications:

• 2 years prior warehouse experience
• 1 year of sit-down/stand-up forklift experience required
• 1 year of reach forklift experience required
• 2 years of electric pallet jack experience required
• 1-year WMS, Inventory, RF Scanner experience preferred
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Basic mathematical skills
• Basic computer skills

Physical demands and abilities:

• Frequently lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Adjust body position to bend, twist, stoop, squat, pivot, walk, and stand for long periods

Environment:

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Hair and beard net, gloves, safety shoes, bump cap, smocks
• Chemical Exposure: Cleaning Supplies and Food Allergens
• Temperature: Refrigerated 37 degrees fahrenheit

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ontario, CA 91761: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Warehouse distribution: 2 years (Preferred)
• RF Scanner: 1 year (Preferred)
• Reach Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
