At our Chulavista/ San Diego, CALocation, we are in need of the following Full Time positions:

-Warehouse Associate-

Position Objective

The Warehouse Associate performs a variety of warehousing duties including receiving, distributing and delivering products to stores within the region.

Position Responsibilities

1. Prepare items for delivery.

2. Load and unload stock items.

3. Operate a forklift to move and arrange stock in warehouse.

4. Receive, unload, check and shelve incoming items according to established procedures.

5. Mark stock items and attach necessary paperwork as required.

6. Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing merchandise to sales associates for processing.

7. Maintain stock inventory.

8. Maintain warehouse safety, cleanliness and organization.

9. Ensure compliance with safety regulations.

10. Operate motor vehicles such as trucks, vans and fork lifts.

11. Operate a wide variety of machinery and equipment including hand trucks, carts, trailers and pallet jacks.

12. Assist in counting physical inventory for distribution to stores.

13. Read work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.

14. Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.

15. Open bales, crates and other containers.

16. Prepare parcels for mailing.

17. Performs other duties as required

Essential Requirements

• Regular and reliable attendance. Flexibility and ability to work varied hours/days as business needs dictates.
• Ability to speak comprehensibly and hear effectively with customers, vendors and/or associates of the organization.
• Ability to read efficiently, perform basic mathematical functions (count, add, subtract, divide & multiply) and write to accurately complete work related documentation.
• Vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Physical demands include frequently standing for long periods of time; walking; ability to reach above or below shoulders, twist at the waist, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, climb and balance.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to one hundred (100) pounds.
• Ability to operate and use equipment (manual) such as ladder, step stool, objects with wheels, spray bottles and other cleaning equipment necessary to perform job function.
• Ability to operate mechanical/electrical equipment used to perform the job functions

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

1. No experience necessary, preferable experience in a retail customer service environment

2. A valid non-restricted motor vehicle operator license

3. High School Graduate, G.E.D. or equivalent work experience of one year

4. Ability to work well under pressure

5. Strong organizational skills along with excellent oral and written communication ability
