Warehouse Position

Trend Setters, Ltd., a small manufacturing company that creates home décor and drinkware, is in need of a full-time warehouse manager to assist our production team in Tremont, IL. We rely heavily on our warehouse manager to ensure the accuracy of shipments as well as keep our teams informed on any changes or updates in shipping, logistics and more. Our ideal candidate is a strong leader with previous warehouse experience who also knows how to use technology efficiently.

Responsibilities:

· Record data entry in various computer software programs (including, but not limited to, Excel, Quickbooks, etc.)

· Maintain and organize a warehouse – this includes ensuring products are organized effectively, keep warehouse tidy, products remain in good condition, etc.

· Respond to changes in processes quickly and communicate any changes to cross functional teams.

· Meet with various representatives for shipping companies to discuss strategies, pricing, etc.

· Check, verify and fulfill customer invoices accurately and efficiently.

· Complete necessary shipping and receiving documents.

· Coordinate outgoing shipments with truck lines.

· Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.

· Accurately handling shipments – this includes (but is not limited to) packing, sorting, counting, weighing of orders/supplies

Qualifications:

· Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

· Ability to lift up to 60 lb

· Knowledge of FedEX, UPS, international shipments, etc.

· Forklift certification

· Previous experience required

· Experience using Microsoft Excel

· Prior experience in logistics/supply chain preferred

· Must possess/demonstrate excellent analytical, communications (both written and verbal), and process improvement skills

Schedule:

· Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime may be required during the holiday season)
