ROMCO is currently seeking a dependable Preventive Maintenance Administrator to join the team supporting the Houston, TX location.

Job Purpose

Under the direct supervision of the Shop Foreman, the Preventive Maintenance Administrator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the preventive maintenance program of equipment.

E*ssential Functions and Responsibilities*

  • Receive and respond to PM requests via phone or email.
  • Create new PM agreements.
  • Track PM agreements and ensure PMs are completed when due.
  • Maintain records of planned and completed maintenance.
  • Manage full-cycle PM process (i.e. customer request to invoiced work order)
  • Record information; open work orders; order filters and parts; communicate, coordinate, and schedule service with customer; execute and invoice the service.
  • Track completed PMs and forecast future PMs.
  • Manage filter and fluids inventory and availability for PM operations.
  • Review and act upon oil sample reports (work with FSS on path forward for negative results)
  • Manage manufacturer product improvements
  • Identifying product improvements due.
  • Open work orders and order parts.
  • Cross reference upcoming PMs with product updates that can be completed by Lube Technician.
  • Review yard inventory regularly for machines that have product updates due
  • Review open product updates for branch; pair open jobs in tandem with product updates
  • Invoice all product updates in collaboration with Warranty Administrator.
  • Cross-train and serve as backup or overflow of additional service personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned

K*nowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements*

  • Knowledge of construction equipment and maintenance of.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with little instruction, take initiative, and utilize creative problem solving, Ability to interpret, communicate and apply policies and procedures
  • Advanced organizational, verbal and writing communication, and customer service skills.
  • Experience as a team leader or supervisor role.
  • Experience in forecasting and planning ahead.
  • Procurement and estimating skills.
  • Experience with warranty processing.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of job-related experience.
