JOB SUMMARY

Pella is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate who, as an integral part of our business, will be responsible and accountable for the safe, timely and accurate completion of assigned warehouse activities and delivery work schedule for our fast-paced warehouse operations.

The right candidate will be:

Hard-working and efficient, with a strong safety focus who is dependable, well organized and a team player. You are someone who is efficient, keeping track of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels remain steady.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Verify daily workload schedule and complete as indicated.
• Cross reference material to documentation to verify accuracy of orders picked and shipments received.
• Unload incoming trailers and load outbound trucks for product delivery.
• Check assembly quality and adhere to corporate assembly standards, communicating back ordered or damaged product on orders.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year previous work or volunteer experience.

Requirements:

• Submit to pre-employment testing (Drug Screen-including marijuana, Background Check).
• Ability to work overtime when required, including weekends.
• Ability to operate electronic hardware/RF units to receive material into inventory.
• Ability to drive forklift/picker recommended.
• Frequently lift, push, or move product up to 75 pounds, using proper lifting technique.
• Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods in an environment with frequently changing temperatures and moderate noise level.
