Job description
GREEN VELVET, a partner of Heritage Supply Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate that will focus on warehouse duties such as stocking shelves, shipping products, loading/unloading trucks. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season.
DUTIES
- Building/maintaining relationships with customers, providing service by taking orders pulling merchandise and billing appropriately
- Inspect products for defects and damages
- Order pulling/picking/staging
- Replenishment/Shipping/receiving
- Staging orders for delivery and loading company vehicles in a warehouse/yard environment
- Focusing on safe work practices, such as wearing PPE, proper lifting techniques, etc., while performing daily duties and using company equipment.
- Other related duties as assigned, counter duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer knowledge, including keyboard, mouse Internet use
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred, but not required
- Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment preferred but not necessary.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs; 50 lbs on a repetitive basis
- Able to a pass pre-employment drug test
