Job Title: AV/VTC Technician

Job Location: Joint Base Andrews, Camp Springs, MD 20762

Travel Required: Infrequent Position

Type: Full-time

Clearance: Must have active DoD Secret clearance, Top Secret Preferred

Job Description:

• Performs troubleshooting of VTC and conference room equipment and executes repair or initiates trouble ticket to appropriate office for support of components and connections external to the site VTC system.
• Performs routine testing to ensure VTC and other conference room equipment, computer servers, and workstations are operating at optimal performance and capacity.
• Resolves system operational problems by troubleshooting and performing fault isolations.
• Schedules AV/VTC sessions, maintains a call schedule and coordinates reservations and scheduling of AV/VTC services.
• Performs setups, tests, adjustments, operations, and shutdowns of equipment in support of AV/VTC sessions.
• Provides client consulting and training on control, interfaces, and use of the audio/ visual and VTC equipment.

Job Qualifications:

Required:

• Experience in AV system maintenance/repair including but not limited to cable termination, reading drawings, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and customer interaction.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• 2-5 years of experience
• IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE)

Preferred:

• Cisco Experience
• AA Degree
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
