Role Description & Details
Shawmut Services is seeking multiple highly motivated candidates for the roles of Canvass Organizer for a canvassing program in El Paso. Canvass Organizers work directly with the Regional Organizing Director and are responsible for the recruitment, hiring, interviewing, training, and management of hourly paid canvassers throughout the city.
RFS provides comprehensive job training for new hires and we strongly encourage potential applicants, who have the qualified skills for the position, who have never worked in a campaign environment to apply. Applicants should possess strong organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Applicants should be willing to relocate as necessary.
Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the recruitment, interviewing, training, and hiring of all canvassers;
• Manage the canvassers as they implement the program’s day-to-day operations;
• Ensure reporting and accountability protocols are followed to provide up-to-date, actionable data and information to campaign leadership; and,
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills, Experience or Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills;
• Campaign experience and proficiency with VoteBuilder is a plus;
• Management, customer service, guest service or client relations jobs; experience a plus;
• Willingness to work a demanding schedule for good causes;
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $5,000.00 per month

• 8 hour shift
