NSX/vSphere/Horizon/vROPS. The Consulting Architect possesses technical best practice knowledge and has assessment, design, and architecture experience with the following VMware technology:

Horizon / NSX / Cloud Operations

Recent and ongoing activities: GEOAxIS and AWS configuration; continued configuration, testing and troubleshooting of vRealize Automation, LifeCycle Manager, Operations; daily system troubleshooting and sustainment as required. NSX ALB deployment, testing, etc. NSX Advanced Load Balancer testing/maintenance

vRealize Operations authentication, troubleshooting and planning; continued work on NSX Advanced Load Balancer; continued work on log Insight and SIEM configuration; daily standup meetings

The candidate should have strong knowledge in NSX-T design & troubleshooting, especially when it comes to Load Balancing and VPN. Kessel Run is also shifting to using the newer NSX Advanced Load Balancer, so familiarity with that would be very helpful. Horizon with Dynamic Environment Manager is also heavily used here, so that is a key knowledge base they should strong on. Kessel Run is moving towards AWS and VMC on AWS, so understanding VMC and some of the challenges of moving to a hybrid cloud architecture is going to go a long way with ensuring VMware continues to have a roll here in the future.

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
