We have a great opportunity to join Nuance as a Virtual Healthcare Trainer on the Dragon Ambient eXperience (DAX) team. This individual will help to train our new scribes, internally known as Quality Documentation Specialists (QDS). We are seeking a candidate with multiple years of healthcare training experience, and a true desire to help improve the patient/physician experience.
Responsibilities

Communicate intensively via video chat, Teams, calls, and screenshares with large population of new hires daily to enhance and support their Onboarding, Training, and Operations experience.

Proactively identify coaching strategies for trainees who are struggling with quality, may need to assess and make suggestions regarding difficulty of work.

Quickly respond to trainee observations identified by members of other departments, including Manager, Sr. Manager, Operations, and others.

Develop, implement, and manage multiple QDS training plans per provider specifics, specialty specifics, trainee ability, and other success-guiding factors.

May be responsible for a combination of methodologies, including On the Job Trainers (OJT) and Live OJT.

Evaluate and train according to rigorous internal rubrics and processes.

Provide white-glove treatment for all new hires.

Maintain high level of employee satisfaction.

Grade and track QDS progress and performance via a variety of tools and applications.

Develop and implement new strategies based on changes and growth within the DAX service and product space.
Qualifications
-
5 years of experience in the medical field with at least 3 years of experience directly training individuals.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Required Skills
-
Mastery of English and medical terminology with excellent verbal and written communication is a critical component.

Must be well versed in multiple healthcare specialties supported by DAX.

Ability to train and QA work in a timely manner.

Experience providing necessary for coaching for new trainees.

People management and/or project management experience preferred.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a challenging space within a multifaceted team where cross-pollination and interaction are key.

Demonstrated track record of meeting significant business deadlines and turnaround times.
