Corning Credit Union is seeking a Virtual Financial Services Representative for the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina market. This role requires strong sales, service, and relationship building skills, as well as the flexibility to provide exceptional, “one-stop” service to our members to meet all of their financial needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for meeting a wide-range of member needs through the seamless integration of Lending and Membership
  • Assists members with completing membership and/or loan requests through video conferencing technology, electronically and over the telephone
  • Responsible for making sound lending decisions by effectively analyzing information gathered during applications
  • Educating members about our products and services, while making recommendations that meet or exceed their needs and contribute to a lasting relationship

Skills:

  • Prior knowledge in consumer lending, membership operations and regulations
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to communicate openly with members
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced, high volume lending environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Detail orientation with strong organization and follow-up skills
  • A high level of initiative
  • Excellent judgment and analytical skills with the ability to think outside the box when working with complex situations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or finance is preferred, commensurate work experience considered.
  • Prior/recent experience in Membership and Consumer Lending with loan approval authority required.
  • Ability to work work on location in our Myrtle Beach, SC offices.
