The vCIO’s principal role is to act as a contract client’s advocate within Usherwood Office Technology. The result of this is accountability for creating and maintaining long term relationships with our most strategic contract clients. This is accomplished through gaining an intimate knowledge of the client’s business and helping them infuse their strategy with technology. A successful vCIO can expect to earn $65,000-$115,000 per year following the targeted sales plan and goals. Applicants should be advised this is not an executive level position and this position is not entirely remote.

Responsibilities:

• Work with active clients to develop a deep understanding of their business needs and goals
• Develop technology strategies in response to those needs
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients to communicate value of services provided and to move client towards technology stack compliance.
• Manage Managed IT services proposals, contracts, and related projects.
• Articulate messages and speak towards technology in an understandable manner
• Interact and manage the expectations of clients and coworkers at the highest levels daily.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of service offerings of the company
• Coordinate and collaborate within a team environment
• Lead discussions and have strong follow up skills
• Ensure client satisfaction by resolving issues quickly and with accountability
• Prepare account analysis and customized reports for leadership, management, and clients
• Negotiate contract changes with clients

Desired Skills and Qualification:

• Experience with IT services, Managed IT services or related solutions required
• Valid, current driver’s license for regular travel to clients’ offices required
• Experience in sales preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Understanding of Active Directory, Network environments, Office 365, Azure and related technologies
• College education preferred
• High level of self-motivation
