Job Title: Village Manager
Reports to: Board of Directors
Location: Beaverton, OR
The Independent senior community is seeking an experienced manager. This role will oversee day-to-day operations to ensure exceptional quality and service to our owners and residents.
The qualified candidate will be:

- Willing to drive community van as needed
The Village at Forest Glen is a unique not-for-profit senior community made up of individually owned condominiums. Built in 1985, the community consists of 74 units. The Homeowners' Association oversees the operation of entire community including building maintenance, landscaping, dining room and a variety of activities for residents. The majority of the units are owner occupied, and a limited number of the units are rentals. The Board of Directors, elected by owners, is assisted by Community Association Partners who provide professional and accounting services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide managerial oversight of HOA responsibilities
- Participate in hiring, training and supervision of staff
- Oversee maintenance of buildings and grounds
- Maintain professional and courteous relationships with board members, residents, staff and outside contractors
- Assure compliance with CC&Rs, Bylaws, Policies and Reserve Study
- Maintain records of employees, owners and residents
- Complete bookkeeping tasks to ensure petty cash and internal invoices are processed accurately and on a timely basis
- Submit reports and present at monthly board meetings
- Oversee monthly resident meetings
- Drive Village van as needed
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent oral and written communication with board members, residents, staff and outside contractors
- Proficient in MS Office products
- Professional interpersonal, analytical and supervisory skills
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in a related field
- High school diploma or equivalent
