Jacob Darr Associates is an exclusive retained Executive Search firm seeking a Senior VP of Supply Chain. We are looking for a very strategic, high level individual to spearhead our supply chain. Experience with Building Products is highly preferred.

A vice president of supply chain typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

• Working with other managers, such as the vice president of operations, to develop strategies that align supply chain activities with business objectives
• Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs in supply chain operations
• Ensuring that the company has adequate inventory of products to meet customer demand while avoiding overstocking or shortages
• Managing inventory levels by purchasing materials needed to manufacture products
• Managing the flow of materials through the supply chain by arranging for transportation, warehousing, and other services
• Reviewing reports on inventory levels and ordering additional supplies when needed
• Developing a network of suppliers to ensure that the company always has access to the materials it needs at competitive prices
• Ensuring that all suppliers meet minimum quality standards for their products
• Coordinating with other departments within the company to ensure that manufacturing, shipping, and other processes are carried out efficiently
• Oversee Production Planning

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
