Caring Hands Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic professional to join our team as a full-time Practice Manager. Qualifications/Requirements of our Practice Manager
The primary role for the Practice Manager is to help create and promote an amazing workplace for the team with individualized coaching of team members and a focus on growth and development of staff. Additional responsibilities include:
Oversight of hospital operations and flow of daily operations, including roles and responsibilities of all staff.

• Work in partnership with the existing management team. Delegate tasks to these positions as appropriate.
• Organization and participation in the recruitment, hiring, and termination process. Providing timely reviews for new and existing employees.
• Encourage growth of team members and the practice as a whole.
• Developing and maintaining a scheduling system. Ensure the hospital is appropriately staffed based on the needs of the hospital and clientele.
• Uphold OSHA, AAHA regulations, and federal employment law (FMLA, EEOC, etc). Maintain records of all employee training and communications.
• Oversee monthly staff meetings.
• Participation in routine management team meetings; work in collaboration with Practice Managers from other locations.

Qualified applicants will have the following traits & abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Possess exceptional interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills.

• Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Avimark

• Previous management and leadership experience

• Possess confidence and self-promotion. Pursue continuing education as a Practice Manager. Communicate effectively with practice owners to improve staff efficiency, promote hospital growth, improve client experiences, and increase financial gains
• Possess a strong understanding of veterinary business, including finance, budgets, payroll, and accounts receivable.
• Demonstrate creativity and adaptability for problem-solving
• Remain flexible with regards to schedule and responsibilities.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License

• All potential new hires are required to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• 4-year Degree preferred

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Senior leadership: 1 year (Preferred)
